Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability. 

Patient Fees for non-NHS Services

Payment by Cash or Cheque - Cheques will only be accepted for amounts of £15.00 or above and should be made payable to ‘James Fisher Medical Centre’

Private sick certificate; Letters (e.g. ‘to whom it may concern’, support of housing, benefits etc)


Claim Forms – without medical (e.g. BUPA/ PPA claim form, School fees, sickness/ accident claim form etc)


Shotgun Certificate; Driving Licence form and photo (without medical)


Private Prescription for non-prescribed medication (e.g. preventative medication)
